TodoMgr is an application for EPOC32 machines (e.g., Psion Series 5mx or netBook) that augments the Psion Agenda application. TodoMgr displays todo list items from Agenda in a two-display format: one display holds the list of lists and the other holds the list items. The list of lists allows the user to organize todo lists hierarchically into lists and sublists (and subsublists....). The result is better organization and quicker, cleaner list manipulation.

TodoMgr is compatible with most EPOC machines, including the Series 5 and 5mx, the Revo, the Series 7, and the netBook.  Version 2.2 will work on all devices; Version 3.0 will work on devices that use EPOC Release 5.  Click here to figure out which release of EPOC you have.

What TodoMgr is not... 

TodoMgr is a todo list manager; it is not a project manager. Project managers have features to log times and track portions of job assignments. TodoMgr is targetted at more simple todo list management. 

TodoMgr's Features 

TodoMgr has the following features: 
  • dual display view of todo lists: a list of lists display alongside individual list item display 
  • lists can be organized hierarchically -- into lists and sublists 
  • Agenda data is managed within the Agenda file; no special external data files are used 
  • cutting and pasting todo list elements is a simple operation; drag and drop methods of item manipulation make editing even easier 
  • reorganization of lists and list items is quick and easy
  • keyboard shortcuts make quick operations (like changing item priorities) easy 
  • list item memos can be viewed and edited, and are kept in the Agenda file 
  • TodoMgr and the Agenda app can be open at the same time
    • In version 2.2: TodoMgr uses a copy of the Agenda file, will stop and, at the user's direction, also restart the Agenda app as it needs to 
    • In version 3.0: TodoMgr and any app that uses Agenda can co-exist and share the core Agenda file.  Each app can make changes that will be reflected by the other
  • individual lists can be printed in a nice format 
  • list and list item navigation is simple, with an intuitive interface 
  • todo lists or list of lists can be exported in HTML or text format
  • a "Recent Files" feature lets you navigate between recently opened Agenda files quickly
  • multiple lists can be viewed together -- and printed, exported, etc.
TodoMgr is compatible with all platforms of EPOC hosts, including Psion Revo, Psion Series 5mx, and the netBook.

What are the System Requirements for TodoMgr? 

TodoMgr requires a computer running EPOC 32: a Psion Series 5 or a GeoFox 1. It uses about 85 KBytes of memory and 65 KBytes of disk space (which, of course, is actually memory...).
