Where has kabestin gone? |

The folks at kabestin software have been
out of touch for a while. For a long while, in fact. We
have missed emails, left the Web site alone, and let our software get a bit
dormant.
The problem is that there is no "we" at kabestin, there is only "I". One person -- Mike Jipping -- runs kabestin: I write the software, update the Web site, correspond with users, support the software, etc, etc, etc. Unfortunately, I do other things too: I'm a college professor, I have a wife and 3 kids, I am active in my church, and I work supporting computers in the community at large (for a non-profit organization). That's a lot of stuff in one life, and I let a few things slip through the cracks. However... kabestin is still very very cool and very important to me as a vehicle for my software development. I'd be developing with or without kabestin -- so I might just as well stick with it and share my ideas. So between that priority and a bit of prodding from some patient kabestin users (Thanks, Phil -- you know who you are!), I'm rededicating myself to keeping this going. To this end, I have put out new version of MonthMgr and TodoMgr -- significant in how they share Agenda files with the Agenda app. I have some very cool new ideas for new software (can you say "VNC server for Symbian"?) and some very interesting upgrades for existing software. So with some patience on your part, and some rededication on my part, we can keep this going. And I need only 2 more hours in a day -- if you can find those, I'd be happier!
